What a powerhouse performance by everyone-- that vocal performance tho! WOW!

I worked at a online travel agency back early 2000's, b4 911, one of my jobs was call customers who had a problem with their form of payment, I notified his name pop up and wondered if it was really him ( traveling to Nashville ), called the number provided and a woman answered, being his secretary, she finally got his reservation fixed, I went unprofessional and mentioned a few of his songs and she was glad that i was a fan, boy I wish he answered the phone instead

An unsung hero if there ever was one. Precociously talented. Everything, the complete package, with one crucial, essential element: sincerity. A View from 103rd Street is a masterpiece. Should’ve easily been album of the year. Song by song, note by note, riff by riff, there’s not a wasted moment. Don’t know or disagree? Put it on, in, whatever, drop the needle or just push play. Prove me wrong. It’s even sequenced perfectly. Always gets me through the night.

The band members were crashed and I was driving them and pulling the trailer back to S. Carolina from Jacksonville. All I could think about was getting home to my sweetheart when I heard it for the first time back then. I still play it on those long trips back to her. We have never had a fight, but I feel lonely away from her. That night was very special when I melted with her and this will always be my coming home anthem.

His songs reflected my life at the time they came out, almost word for word. ❤

Amazing talent! Loved Jude Cole's songs when they were on the radio in the early 1990's! He's a native of the Quad Cities of Iowa, where my parents used to own the historic Coliseum Ballroom.

Criminally underrated musician.

Jude should do an Unplugged album. I've seen a couple of these acoustic versions here in yt and they've all been outstanding performances.

It's a shame Jude didn't do an Unplugged album. This is the second acoustic song I seen him do. The other was Baby it's Tonight. Both were outstanding performances. You could tell because the applause at the end was way louder than when he was introduced. That's an impressive feat.

"Found' Jude Cole in the early '90s, and saw him perform live at Park West in Chicago. What a talent. Like many others I can't understand how/why he's not better known. He's written lots of songs for other "stars", and is a seriously accomplished musician. Ever heard a better voice? Greater emotion? just listening to this one song, don't you want more? Yeah!
